Transportation Project Manager Full Time

Our client is working to create a vibrant, multimodal transportation solution for people of all ages and abilities and is looking for a Transportation Project Manager to join their team.

Their staff of over 100 engineering, design and planning professionals are passionate about making a difference in communities large and small. The pace is fast, the team is creative and dynamic, and you will collaborate across disciplines with colleagues on transformative projects throughout Austin.

Requirements are;

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil/transportation engineering, urban design, landscape architecture, or related field
• 5+ years of transportation experience, with a demonstrated interest in managing construction and capital projects
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineering license (Texas preferred)
• A broad knowledge base in civil engineering (transportation focus), roadway geometry, ADA and drainage requirements
• A broad knowledge of construction, specifically coordination between multiple work crews, project coordination, understanding flexible IDIQ/on-call contracts, communicating between different departments and with the public, understanding construction impacts on citizens, and interpreting construction documents
